Finally Some New Stuff

Finally I'm adding some new works to this blog. Well, they're just sketches, but what's significant is that I drew the first one strictly with my non-dominant left hand and I did the under-drawing with my left hand for the second one, finished off with my right.

Griffin Gould

A digital work I did of an OC that is supposed to emulate a screen print. I only used four colors and just played with the opacities, sort of to challenge myself.

New Watercolor Doodle

I wanted to do some sort of watercolor today so I doodled out a character and colored it.

He was inspired by the Alkonost and Gamayun of Russian folklore.

I usually don't do anthros but here you go.
I was doodling one day and I liked her character, even though I don't think I'll do anything with it.

Digital Coloring Practice

Practicing coloring my characters on the tablet and Photoshop.
I recently got a Baccano! art book and as I was looking at the pictures, I thought to myself, "Hey, I can color like this on the computer!"
So I've finally found a way to color my beloved characters in a way that meets my standards.

It's just simple head shots for now. More complicated things to come later.
How much later I don't know.

Summer Side Project

Ever since my summer break started I began working on a side project that I had planned since last year. Thankfully I have time this summer to get a good chunk of it done if not complete it.

Anyway it's a one-shot comic/graphic novel about a soccer team. I'm doing it in Sharpie Pen and throwing it together in InDesign. I'm shooting for 150 pages at its completion.
