One Messed Up Eye

Fast Food and Fast Skates

Another new character from another new story.
Anyway, he works as a roller skate server at a fast food chain. I initially just wanted a zippy dude on skates, and inevitably I had to create a story for him.

New Oil Painting

Usually during my winter breaks from school I'll take on a couple projects of my own volition. Last year I created the oil painting of the two waiters. This year I did a painting of a new character.



Mostly this piece is to practice my color technique. I'm still perfecting digital painting on Photoshop, so I thought it would be good to go back to traditional media and get a feel for things again. I feel though I'm much more comfortable with the oils in this one than the one last year. I have to give credit to one of my colleagues for inspiring me to do an oil painting this break.

I won't say much about the character, I'm still developing him. You'll just have to ask in person.
